The Fundamentals: Image-Guided Interventions: Endovascular Interventions

Image-Guided - Endovascular Interventions

The IR fundamentals module for endovascular intervention will provide a brief overview of the tools and techniques used for the myriad of intra-arterial and intra-venous procedures that interventional radiologists perform. The topics covered are vast, and will require further learning for eventual mastery of the concepts; however, this module will serve as a proper introduction to the broad field of vascular procedures and devices.

Module Components

Presentations:

  • Peripheral Arterial Disease
  • Thrombolysis Workshop
  • Thrombolysis and Thrombectomy: Arterial and Venous
  • Introduction to IVC Filters - Placement and Retrieval Techniques
